The recent DaDOM student training week in Leeuwarden brought together students, teachers, and partners from across Europe for an inspiring and unforgettable experience. The programme included hands-on activities like musical improvisation sessions, workshops, and a symposium exploring the role of music in care.
Throughout the week, participants learned how to use music as a practical tool in their future professions. One student reflected, “I became convinced that music can do more than words.” Another added, “I learned how to use music like a tool in my profession. Everyone was so friendly, and it was an amazing experience!”
The week wasn’t just about learning—it was also about connection. Students from different schools and countries shared their experiences and supported one another, forming meaningful bonds. As one participant shared, “It challenged me to get to know students from other schools, and in the end, I made good friends.”
